After an agonizing delay for the victors, the four new council members have been confirmed and are already on their seats. The special election, which was concluded last week, was intended to find three new council members for the open seats. Under the 3:1 ratio which is the current system for finding representative numbers, an extra seat became available during the election process, further causing turmoil for the electorate officials.
"And as for senators, I hope those of us elected can take their postions soon; darken the force a little." this from Council Nominee KEmperor, one of the Sith canidates in the running.

Thought there was an extended vote tabulation time, it was announced finally that KEmperor, Admiral Sherbert, Numbtenor21, and by special draft from Head Counciler, Jedi Master Yoda, Berserk74 would fill the four seats on the Council. The newcomers seemed relieved indeed.

In the conclusion of the Special Election, and the disruptions it caused, it was announced that an official Constitution for the Jedi Republic was to be drafted. More on this developing story later as information becomes available.
